Osprey Health Strategies was founded by Allison Morse to improve the experience of patients and loved ones coping with the impact of cancer on their lives.
We can help you reach your personal goals by easing the burden and the anxiety that you may feel as a result of the complexities of cancer, the overwhelming number of treatment options and the ever-changing health care system. Serving as an adjunct to your oncology team, we can assist you with difficult decisions, explain clinical information that is inherently complex, help you access resources, and/or accompany you to appointments. |
Allison B. Morse, ScM, ANP-BC, AOCNP, is an expert oncology nurse practitioner, certified by the Oncology Nursing Society. She is deeply committed to the care of patients with cancer. For the last two decades she worked in oncology in the Boston area, most recently in the specialty of gynecologic oncology.
Allison was named the “Nurse Practitioner of the Year” in Massachusetts by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2008. She is passionate about palliative care and was a founding member of an international initiative to educate and support hospice nurses in Romania. Currently, she is a member of the Board of Director's of Facing Cancer Together; it is a local organization that offers support groups and therapeutic activities to patients and families coping with cancer. Allison is a published author and lecturer at Simmons College. She enjoys her dog, is an avid sailor and loves to knit. She is a certified Master of Reiki which is an ancient Japanese method if energy healing; Allison and enjoys practicing Reiki with patients, family and friends.
